Ludum Dare 49
I used a lot of the elements from my LD48 game UI-wise to create a totally new game that was originally inspired by Slay the Spire, but then devolved out of a roguelike as originally intended into a more linerally progression game. Spellblade Dungeon Crawler. You can play it in the browser, make sure to press the full screen button in the bottom right!!!
Was created in Unity and was very game logic heavy:
- screen programing
- combat
- ability
- items
- guilds
- purchasing
- day tracking / harvesting rewards
- zone leveling
- enemy types (normal, unique, boss)
- “unstable” effect per zone, which was the game jams theme.
heavy as that is what captured my attention as I was developing this further during the game jam.
This was my second try for LD, seriously. looking forward to the next one.
